How to quickly skip to the end of an audio recording in Notes for continuous commentary?

I often make a very long audio note in Notes that represents the start and stop of note taking with pauses of thinking or reading in between. For example, I use this to comment on a book I am reading while I am reading. I read a section, then record a note of commentary. Then stop the recording. Read some more, then pick up where I left off in the note to record some more.

However, many times during this process I will review what I have commented on in the note. When I am ready to record a new segment, the cursor in the audio of this long note is not at the end where it must be in order for the red record button to be activated to record anew.

I must manually sweep through the very long recording I have made up to this point to get to the end in order to continue recording my comments.

Is there a simpler procedure to immediately skip the cursor of the current playback point to the end of the audio recording so that I do not have to manually sweep the very long audio recording to the end to start recording again?

Thank you for your help.
