Apple Business Connect is a broken service that doesn't work properly.

I work at small marketing agency and manage 15+ clients on Apple Maps. For every new client we create a business listing on Apple, Bing, and Google. Apple is always the hardest platform to work with.

My Agency is a third party partner approved to manage listings on behalf of clients, but there is no way to create Apple Maps listings for clients. Even though we are a partner It will not allow us to create new listings, and our only option is to link existing listings with a partner ID. This means to get a new client on Apple maps I need to have an onboarding call with their team where they setup their apple listing, submit verification documents, and then after all that they can link their account with my agencies partner account. This normally takes 2-3 calls total and is a huge hassle that I could do this myself.

This wouldn't be a problem if the problems stopped once the locations were live, but after approval more problems arise. Below are a list of common issues I have seen.

1 - I changed business hours for a client on 1/13/25. Over two months later on 3/31 I am still waiting for the business hours to be updated. The change is marked as "in review" and no amount of support tickets have solved the problem. This has caused the client to lose customers.

2 - Once client was having issues with Apple Maps sending clients to an address a street away. After 3 weeks of support tickets apple finally moved pin on the map to the correct building, but directions on Apple Maps is still sending customers to the wrong location. This is causing the client to lose customers.

3 - There is no way to get an Apple representative on the phone, or to get a reply from a real person over email. Bing and Google Maps both have better support systems. If a client has a problem on Apple I can submit as many support tickets as I want but the issue won't be fixed.

4 - There is no way to use Apple maps on android or windows devices. If I want to use my phone to report a problem on the maps app I have to borrow one from a coworker, and there's no to verify if changes have gone through or been approved without an Apple device.

5 - Apple Partners cannot make Map listings. The current account management system is overly complicated and requires too much work on the clients side.

I have worked with Apple Maps for over 2 years now and I want the system to be improved. I have seen this work more effectively with Google Maps and Bing Business Listings and I know that these problems can be fixed.

Thanks Idris. I didn't know where the best place to post this was. I have just submitted the feedback there and I hope to hear back soon.

You won't hear back about feedback you've submitted. Apple is pretty clear about that on the Feedback page. But it will be read and routed to the appropriate people.

Been dealing with Apple for over 2 years now on a lot of these issues and I would like to speak to an Apple rep, do you know a good way to get someone on a call?

I've always found that requesting a call gets me a person pretty quickly.

Thanks Idris for your help and knowledge of different support tools. Hopefully we can get this ironed out. I will update here after I attempt to call Apple and will state whether the interaction was good or bad.

Looking forward to providing an update later today.
