How to convert Apple Books M4B format to supported formats for HealValuefit HUS0223 audio player?

downloaded a book for a audio player called HealValuefit HUS0223 that only supports MP3, WMA, FLAC, M4A and WAV files... my apple book is a M4B format.. tried various converters no joy... tried to unlock the DRM program for one of the converters no joy.. seems to be impossible.. any help here would be huge!!!! thanks.. not much of a techy.. even tried the unluck via Terminal no joy..

Ah. I thought by "audio player," you mean an app. I didn't realize you meant a piece of hardware.

Sadly, audio books purchased from Apple will only play on Apple apps, to the best of my knowledge.

The other major source of Audiobooks is Audible but they also require a proprietary app.

Are you trying to convert an audio book FROM M4B? Or TO M4B?

I don't believe you can convert DRM-protected Apple audiobooks to anything else. Why not use Books to listen?

this is for my 92 yo mother in-law not remotly interested in using anything that is not just on/off.. hence we bought this unit..
