Grey out Sign In - followed by Cloud with arrow on all downloaded songs
I have ITunes 12.13.5.3. PC is Windows 10
I recently discovered that my Account/Sign In details were greyed out. As an older person, I got worried about this signed out then signed in again and then my problems began.
I tried several times to sign in, but too no avail. Eventually, I gave it a rest and came back about an hour later.
Signed in all okay, played a few songs on my Playlist and said it's all working. No it wasn't. I went over to check SONGS and most of my songs have a cloud and down arrow. I looked around for help on the Net, and I believe I understand what the cloud/arrow means... you can play the song, as it's in cloud. However, I use these songs, outside of my home and need them. I know I can go and right click on the cloud and say download, but I have over 2,000 songs, so not a good idea, an idea but a very time consuming one.
These songs are on a family account, and mostly I am the one that uses ITunes. These have been downloaded through ITunes and I have had the occasional cloud and arrow, but not all the songs. Prior to this all happening, ITunes was freezing up on me and I had to many a time, END TASK.
These songs are all through ITunes, and I am looking for a way to get rid of the cloud in one hit, is there a way. At the moment I do not want to go up to the next version of ITunes, as I need to have this running the way it use to run... no clouds, no freezing and bring back my Sign In option, which is still grey at the moment.
Unfortunately, if you give me something like re-install or something complicated to do, I am probably not the person to do it. Hoping there is an easy solution to all this, I'd be happy just to get it back to normal, and I'd be happy to END TASK when it freezes again, just as long as I am up an running.
Thanking you all for all your questions and answers which I appreciate and helps me to some extent to fix up my problems.
Help me easily please.
