iOS 18.4 messages now only show part of text??? - PLEASE HELP

Since updating to iOS 18.4 this week, suddenly my text messages are truncated so that long messages have a ">" and make you tap that to see the rest!

I work with teams of legal & finance people and our owner sends hundreds of LOOOOOOOONNNNGGG texts daily! We need to see what they say in their entirety! We are working from those, and communicating thru those.

Seeing only an inch and then having to tap a > to see the rest of the message completely defeats the ability to read and refer while answering or to copy & past portions etc.

How do I turn this feature off?????!

It looks this way on my iPhone as well as as all my Macs.

Any help is appreciated.
