The card is no longer connected to the internet to accept payment

I have a bank account connected to my wallet. I’ve made two payments on it so far no problem. I went to make a payment yesterday, it said payment failed. I tried again today, it said the same thing. I went to the on line Apple Card site and made the payment with no problems.

I can still see the charges and payments, however I can no longer make a payment through my apple wallet.

I suspect it was just a network error. The last day of the month and following first day of month Goldman Sachs is producing millions of credit card statements, millions of Apple Savings account statements, updating millions of iPhones, accepting millions of electronic payments, etc. No other bank in the US does that. I suspect it was just their network being very busy.


Try a small payment in a day or two and let’s see if it goes right through.

You can’t add a bank account to your Wallet. Debit cards can be added to Wallet, and through the debit card you can transfer funds in and out of your bank account. Is that what you’re doing?


You don’t make payments to your bank account. What exactly are the payments for?


Online Apple site, you mean card.apple.com? Are the payments you referred to above payments on your Apple Card Mastercard account?


Apple Wallet is not a bill pay service. What does your Wallet have to do with payments?

I can not make a payment through my Wallet app, to my Apple Card.

I set up my bank account on the wallet app, so I can do payments to it from my bank account.

My Apple Card is the only card in my wallet on my iPhone.

When I say online, I mean I go to Apple Card.com and I can make my payment there using the bank information saved to it from my Apple Wallet. So I would assume from that, that my bank account information is still correct on the site and wallet app for payment on my Apple Card.
