Does anyone know what this folder is in application support - SESStorage

Hey,

Did a factory reset after suspected malware infection. Checked processes, launchers and application support after and found this folder.

I can't find any explanation for it on google so I do not know what this supports. What is it?

Whats in the folder?

The Ai Overview states "Apple kb SES" likely refers to the SES Remote Access Control app for Apple devices which allows users to securely access physical assets remotely. "

I also see this on the App Store...

Hey,

this is inside the folder. It seems to be connected to the seserviced process I see in my activity monitor. Ive never installed the application your link refers to.

ETA: I asked ChatGPT and it said it's likely related to Secure Enclave, which seems connected to the keychain and faceID, and indeed also related to the SEServiced process. Seems legit enough, it just weirded me out because I could not find anything on google.
