Prioritise notifications Not working iOS 18.4

I have apple intelligence switched on and also prioritise notifications for some apps. iMessage, phone calls, Face book messenger, Ring doorbell, House alarm app, Santander. I’ve had notifications from them all since iOS 18.4.

Yet they are shown on the lock screen no different than they were prior to the latest update. Yes I have turned apple intelligence off and back on. Rebooted phone. Also turned prioritise notifications on and off.

Or does apple intelligence interpret what is a priority from your selected apps. ?

it’s a real shame apple can’t be more specific with new updates.

Yeah, iOS will determine if any notifications should be placed in the Priority notifications bucket from the apps you’ve turned on:

In iOS 18.4 or later, your iPhone can determine which notifications have priority over others. Priority notifications appear at the top of the stack, so you can catch up on what you may have missed.
