"Malware Blocked" message keeps popping up

I restarted my computer today, and this message won't go away.

Malware Blocked “PT.updd” was not opened because it contains malware. This action did not harm your Mac.

After I press done, it will pop up again. I already tried looking for the file, installed Malwarebytes, and restarting in safe mode. Nothing works! Please help

Did you install the Popcorn Time BitTorrent app? You also might have it set to run on startup if you do have that app.

There may also be files that are in your Launch Folders that run on startup. To identify the problematic processes running on startup, the best option is to use EtreCheck and post the report here using the Additional Text option when posting. The program is free and does not contain any personal information.
