You can set Preview to be the default PDF reader by seleting a PDF file, bringing up its Info window. Then in the Open With section select Preview. Finally, click on the Change All button.
That will make Preview the default PDF reader for all PDFs.

Hi,
You can print PDF files with Preview.app.
I could do that with my old Mac but with the new one, the pdf files open up in adobe acrobat and the software, although it opens the file, when I try to print and select the pages, it messages saying there are non pages to print.
