Unable to view numbers in Contacts when iPhone is set to Dark Mode

iphone 12 pro max----- in order for me to see better I turned the iphone to dark mode.However under dark mode the phone numbers in contacts are deep blue and make it difficult to see unless I turned up the brightness quite a bit for me.Why not white instead of deep blue which is hard to see?Is there a way to correct that?I have tried night shift, invert,True tone reduce white point and nothing would change the phone numbers to white on dark background.
