Hello, and thanks for getting back. For some reason, I didn't see that I had a reply waiting.
anyhow, I believe that model should be on Ventura if I'm not mistaken. Whatever the case, make sure you have every software update you can possibly get. This should update system and controller firmware to the latest available.
After you've done that, then we're gonna have to do some basic troubleshooting in Windows.
First, make Windows persistent: as you start up your Mac, hold the option key down; and then, before you boot into windows, hold the control key. The action icon below the volume list should change. This tells the computer to make the selected operating system the first choice when it boots.
Starting safe mode on Windows 10/11 is always a bit tricky. While accessing the start menu to shut down, hold the left shift key as you click restart. You'll be presented with a bunch of options. Walk the menu to find one option called "advanced startup". From there, you should see dialogue that basically tells you what will happen when you select this option. Go ahead and click OK or restart on the very bottom of this explanation. When it restarts, you'll be given a menu of options to pick from. So select either safe mode or safe mode with networking.
once you get into windows using one of the above methods them search out "system information" or "msinfo32". At the very least, that'll give you a summary of your current hardware configuration, firmware version, and the like.
next thing we'd like to see happen is that you run a program called MSCONFIG. This is the system configuration utility, and you can use it to enable or disable any program starting up that might be causing an issue. The startup tab here will direct you to task manager; while there, it would be a good idea to disable any running processes you don't need at the moment. The Boot Camp app is going to be required, so don't disable that. Instead, go to the service tab and check the box that says hide all Microsoft services. This will help keep essential programs running while we are troubleshooting. Once you've hidden the Microsoft stuff, then hit the button marked "disable all". Click apply on the bottom of the box, and then click OK to confirm your action. You'll soon be prompted to restart. Do so.
even if the display issue persists, you should be able to run all updates using Windows update and then restarting. Sometimes, a replacement display driver may be part of the updates suggested. Again, grab every critical update you can, and don't worry about the optional stuff unless it's a driver that you may need.
if you have not already done, so, you can also run Apple software update located in your start menu. Some of the later Intel Macs actually have had just-in-time driver updates. Again, every patch you can get counts.
once you're done troubleshooting, use MS config again to return your start up to its regular settings. Again, you may be prompted to restart, but this is what it's supposed to do.
good luck,
Nate,
