Why is my wife unable to log in to FaceBook on iPad?

I have gone thru 3 ipads for my wife and the newest one being bought directly from Apple. Every time she has attempted to log in, she gets a message that her account has been temporarily suspended for typing too fast. This has happened on all of the ipads.

We used an Amazon Fire tablet and it logged in without any problems. Why is this going on with just the Ipads? We attempted to ask FB but, as of yet, no response. But, since this problem has only occurred with ipads i'm suspecting something else.

I noticed (on all 3 ipads) under the VPN, it only allows you to contact your school or business to use VPN. I also found out that ipads have a Mobile Device Manager installed that MAY prevent certain apps from loading or running. Could this be a possible cause?

As i stated above, the Fire tablet had no problem logging into FB, just all 3 ipads. I have returned 2 of them thinking they were defective, but, the new one right from apple does the exact thing.

Any suggestions?

Have her log into her account with the iPhone. If the same thing happens, it’s a FB issue. Usually a notice will state how much time is left on the suspension. It could be days, weeks etc. The suspension is time increases with each failed login attempt. So, do not keep failing and trying over and over to get in.

If she can get into her account on iPhone, have her try to log into her iPad. She may get a notification on the asking if she’s trying to log into her account with a new or unknown device. She may be able to get in that way.

If she can’t get in with either device her account is locked. She should have received an email about unknown devices etc. Has she looked at her emails, junk folder and spam and trash folders? They may have tried sending a text message to. Check those for instructions.

It’s Facebook (ie Meta) that’s responsible for their apps to work on Apple devices, not Apple. If there’s a compatibility problem with iPadOS then Facebook needs to fix it.

That said it sounds like your wife is locked out for a period of time for making too many failed attempts to log in from her iPad. Why the iPad and not from other devices is Facebook’s problem to address.
