Kernel panics caused by USB hubs?

I've been recently experiencing some kernal panics lately on my M1 iMac using the latest OS and firmware.

I've been reading in some forums that this is related to USB hubs brought off of Amazon. Here is the device in question: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DDX4BNP7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

And this is the panic log:

The reason I got this hub because it has SD card slots, USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and an HDMI port for outputting to a TV.

Is this the reason behind the constant restarts, or is it something else?

iMac 24″, macOS 15.4

How many and what kind of devices do you have connected to the hub.

The hub is bus powered and you may have too many devices off of one port and that could cause the panics. I always get self powered hubs for use.

What year is your iMac? I assume it's a Silicon iMac, right?

I got this hub for my Mac Mini M4: RSHTECH 7-Port Powered USB 3.2/USB C Hub with 10Gbps USB-A 3.2, 2 USB-C 3.2, 4 USB 3.0 Ports, Individual Touch Switches, 3.3ft Cable and 5V Power Adapter, USB Hub Splitter for Laptop/PC, RSH-ST07C for $29 US.

Ports can only provide so much power and if the demand is more than they can provide crashes can occur.
