How do I make Numbers open the last folder of documents by default?

Numbers stopped going to the last folder of documents when I start the application.There is no setting to change this.

File > Open should take you to the folder containing the document you last opened. Open and close a document in the folder you want.

File > Open Recent may also be useful.

If you haven't done so already you might try restarting your Mac and repeating. Also make sure you have updated to the latest macOS 15.4.1.

It used to do that but last week it just quit doing it. Now I need to search through documents to get to the previously opened folder.
