How do I edit/delete info in Payment Details on Mac System Settings?

On my Mac - in System Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay, under Payment Details, the phone number that was listed was one I hadn't used in over five years. Where did this phone number come from and how do I delete it? It's quite concerning that potentially this number was receiving calls or messages regarding purchases I had made. I'm also seeing my current phone number listed four times. Would be nice to remove the duplicates.

I've looked at what appears to be the same setting on my iPhone but when I make a change there (delete unused numbers and select my primary number associated with my Contact Card) this resets the phone number on my Mac and reverts to the old number I no longer have access to.

So, how do I edit the info on my computer or get these two locations to sync properly?

First, update your > ME < contact card in Apple Contacts app. Make sure they are labeled correctly. Search for multiple cards and delete them. Also search for multiple occurrences of your phone numbers and edit or delete as necessary.

Go online and update your account information for Apple Account/iCloud account.

Go to your Wallet app and make sure each credit/debit card has correct contact information. Lastly, on your iPhone check these three locations described below.

iPhone > Settings > Apple Account (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > tap card to edit > tap Billing address > tap edit (upper right corner of screen) edit necessary changes

iPhone > Settings > Apple Account (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Shipping Address (edit or delete address)

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction Defaults (scroll down) > Shipping Address > Edit (upper right corner of screen) > either Enter New Shipping Address, add new address or edit/delete addresses

I had already checked on the ME card - it's correct and there's no duplicates.

The info at iCloud > Apple Account is correct.

I've checked the Wallet app on iPhone for my contact information. No phone number options there. Just billing address.

(!) This was wrong.

Shipping address is correct, no phone number there.

Transaction defaults is correct.

I went back to check the phone numbers in Settings on Mac and the old was is now gone. This resolves the main issue. Thank you! Still wish I could get rid of the redundant options but I'll live with it.
