XMATCH finds text but not numbers

I have a master sheet of information that populates subsequent sheets. The method I'm using is to extract the sheet name into a cell (REFERENCE.NAME and REGEX.EXTRACT), then find that name in the master sheet and offset the location to fill in multiple fields within each.

When I use a column in the master sheet that has names of objects like "chair" or "clock, tall case" everything works fine. But I ran into a problem where there's descriptions that duplicate. Chair is going to show up many times. So instead I decided to use an ID number each piece in the inventory has, except now everything is broken.

XMATCH doesn't find the ID number in the master sheet even though I can clearly see it there. I even copied it to paste into the sheet name to make sure I wasn't accidentally leaving some typo in the name.

The master sheet is a header column with the name of the item, followed by about 15 columns of different information. Each subsequent sheet is made to resemble an index card, using rows and columns. These images show the helper column that I hide for output. Both reference the exact same information in the master sheet. The only difference is I use the ID number instead of item name as the reference for XMATCH.

What am I missing??
