have a numbers file, with several spreadsheets within in it, tabs etc - can I search all formulas to see if a given cell is in use in any formula within the file? there was a way a many years ago, appears to be gone
so is table3::B13 used anywhere as an example

I do not think this is possible using the native Numbers interface.
However, this 'Find Replace in Formulas' Shortcut I wrote many years ago may help you do what you want.

Thanks SG, will take a look.
Have never really looked at much at shortcuts, cannot find a way to view it before trying to run it - perhaps as 'allow running scripts' is off for security, but seems odd not to be able to view
