How to fix Apple Pay when cards don’t scan on any machine?

Hey everyone, my apple pay suddenly stopped working. I’d click the power button twice and the card would appear as usual, but the card machines wouldn’t scan. The machines aren’t the problem because i’ve previously used apple pay on those machines and they worked fine and also my card does this on every single machine i’ve tried. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a solution? any advice will be appreciated, thank you!
