Can't sign-in to App Store or iCloud with my iPod Touch

I'm at my wits end. I want to transfer music from my iPod Touch (5th generation, iOS 9.3.5) to my MacBook Air (Sonoma 14.6.1) using AirDrop. No matter what I do, I get the same error message: "Verification Failed There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server." I even changed my password on my MacBook, so I would be certain I had the correct password. Why can't I connect?

Can’t log in Icloud on atv 3 I use an appleTV 3 to stream my music from itunes match. Worked perfectly, atv directly connected to stereo. Apple says minimum system requirement for iTunes match is atv3. However, I can’t login to my icloud account (and hence not in iTunes match) anymore. Says something about photostream, which i do not use. Did apple stop allowing iCloud on atv3? newer atv’s have no sound output, so is this the end of my perfectly working setup?

I keep getting a “could not complete operation” message when trying to sign in to a different iCloud account I was trying to set up a HomePod mini for my brother who’s under 18 and I used my phone to set it up. When I went into primary user under music settings, I signed out of my account and tried to sign in to his but it gave me that error. I tried using both my phone and his but it did the same thing. When I looked up people online having the same problem I only found people who were trying to do it on a Mac and fixed it by doing it on a phone instead.

"Sign into the iTunes Store" failure So I have a problem logging into the app store. When I go to update apps, I get a "Sign into the iTunes Store" pop up that is already populated with an old Apple ID used on this Mac. After I enter my own and type the password, it stutters for a minute as if the updates will begin, but then I get another pop up. Hitting download brings it right back up, which happens 4 or 5 times before it stops and brings me right back to square 1. My connection is strong, clock is correct, airdrop works fine with my phone which is on the same AppleID, iMessage doesn't work either. There's a mixup somewhere with my Apple ID but i can't figure out what it is. Thanks in advance for any help.
