2014 MacBook Pro ICloud Sign-In Issues

I am extremely frustrated, I have reviewed countless articles, comments and I can’t resolve the issue.

my iCloud will login via ITunes and the web but not iMessage, FaceTime or via the system settings.

I’ve had this laptop for 11 years, mostly used for web browsing or occasionally gaming.

I had a password set up to the device originally but when logging in today for the first time in a while it suddenly needed my iCloud password. I figured this was an update that took place since I last used it but it kept saying my password was wrong.

I reset my password multiple times and this did not resolve the issue.

I factory reset the device which I didn’t want to do as I wasn’t sure what info I had saved on there that I may want but decided to anyway, did not work.

I read multiple posts,

comments and any advice I could find and nothing has worked. I looked at certificates, types of commands and folders.

I am not a tech expert but am pretty savvy, highly capable of following directions. This laptop has worked for over 10 years no problem and suddenly now can’t sign into my iCloud. Any advice is appreciated.
