Requested an Airbnb refund to my apple pay. Still have not received it.

I requested a refund from Airbnb on July 5th. It's been about a month, and I contacted Airbnb who confirmed the refund was sent to my bank. I called my bank, and they have given me no updates. There is apparently no evidence of my purchase on my bank statements. I've given them trace numbers, purchase information and receipts from Airbnb and still nothing. I've been waiting a month for the refund. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, did you ever receive your refund?

So, you don’t see the charges on your credit card statement?


File a Complaint with the CFPB (Consumer Financial Protection Bureau)


If you’re not getting resolution, file a complaint with the CFPB:

You can report issues involving:

  • Banks
  • Payment processors
  • Refund problems


File a Complaint with the Federal Reserve (if bank-related)


If your bank is federally regulated, you can also file a complaint with the Federal Reserve:

This is particularly useful if the bank is unresponsive or mishandled your ACH refund.


Report to the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency)

If the bank is a national bank (e.g., Chase, Wells Fargo):


File with the OCC at https://www.helpwithmybank.gov/
