iCloud Photos Sync Stuck due to Shared Library

My buddy was the owner of a shared library with me. He had to delete the shared library, and all the videos are currently being copied to my personal library. There were ~160 videos in the shared library, each 30 minutes in length, ~500 MB in size.

When I go to iCloud Photos on the web, I can see the "Shared Library" option in the dropdown menu. However, there is no option to delete these videos, the trash button is disabled. When I click on any of those videos, iCloud tells me "Photo Not Found".

I tried deleting these videos from the Photos app on my MacBook. But when I try permanently deleting them, Photos tells me "A shared video cannot be permanently deleted while leaving a Shared Library".

I really want these videos gone as any photos / videos that I have taken after are not being synced until these huge videos are synced. Does anyone know how to delete these videos, or should I contact Apple to remove these videos from the server?
