Confirming bank account for Apple Pay transfer from Coinbase

I’m trying to transfer £200 from Coinbase to my bank account. Apple Pay is linked to the CB account as I originally paid with it. It’s asking me to confirm the bank account for the credit but although it’s my name I don’t recognise the sort code or account number. I’m presuming it’s my unique Apple Pay account number but how do I check this? If may only be £200 but I can’t afford for it to be paid to an account that isn’t mine. Thnx

Apple Pay is not a demand account like a checking or savings account. Apple Pay is a service that encrypts your personal and financial information used for debit and credit card transactions.

You’ll need to transfer your funds to a bank account as mentioned above and then transfer to Apple Cash, if that’s your goal. Apple Cash is a prepaid debit card. If Coinbase permits transfers to virtual prepaid debit cards you can add your Apple Cash card number into your Coinbase Wallet and then transfer to Apple Cash.

Open the card in your Wallet that you paid with and tap the More (...) button on top, then tap Card Number. You will see the last 4 digits that was used for the transaction. Your actual card number is never sent, so it is those unique last 4 digits that are used for returns.
