I paid with Apple Pay on the weekend for a hotel stay it went straight into my pending transaction on my banking app on 24th August and when I’ve checked my bank today and checked my apple wallet it says refunded when I didn’t request the refund as I paid soon as I checked in
what does this mean ?
Hotels place a hold or a preauthorized charge when reserved and if you paid at the Hotel, that hold will be removed. If you did not pay at the Hotel, then the pending transactions would change to the actual charge.

You would have to ask the hotel why they refunded you.
I paid on check in as it came up on the card reader approved and everything went through just today I’ve looked and on my apple wallet it says refunded and on my bank the fund have gone from pending back into my account
