I paid through apple pay for what turned out to be a scam. Does apple offer any support?

Apple Pay can use multiple sources as the payment method (funding source). Did you use a credit card, debit card or Apple Cash as the payment method? You need to file a fraud dispute with the issuer of the payment method you used.
