In iOS 26 when I go to Settings > safari > Tabs, there are three options: compact, bottom and top. When I choose bottom, which I prefer, any time I go to search something in Google the screen becomes white blurred and it’s hard for me to see what I’m typing. But if I choose the other two, this bug is not there. I’m using iPhone 16 pro.

Not even one answer or suggestion after a week? Come on developers. You can easily reproduce the bug. I tested it on an iPhone 13 Pro on iOS 26 of a friend of mine and the same exact bug happened. iOS 26 actually has ruined many things, including the cursor placement when you’re typing even here on this discussion board.
Even on this textbox that I’m writing, there is a bug in which the words that Siri has caught wrong are shown with blue line underneath them, but when I click on them to change the whole text disappears and I have to click on the text box again. Or another bug due to which the refresh button in Safari changes place from right to left or vice versa. In the very first place it is not nice for a $3 trillion company to put out a product like this. Apart from that, there should be an application or something that we could report these in an easier more streamlined way.Safari refresh button changes place from right to left or vice versa.

Having the same problem since updating my phone a few days ago to 26.
Also some web pages won’t show correctly and tap to open links within some sites have to be tapped a few times to work.
So far wishing I could easily revert back.
I started seeing this when I updated to the beta a couple of months ago. I couldn't find anyone else complaining of it on any forums, reddit, etc. Still seeing it...
The problem still persists in iOS 26.1 — even while typing this message in this exact field.
Yes, I had hopes that by upgrading to iOS 26.1 this issue will be solved, but I was wrong. At this point, the issue itself is less bothering than the fact that no one pays attention to solve it.
