I am unable to delete workouts in Fitness App after installing iOS 26

Is anyone else having this problem? Prior to installing iOS 26, I was able to swipe left and delete a workout from the Apple Fitness App. This no longer works

I ended up opening the Apple Fitness App on my iPhone and placing it directly beside my iPad while I did the workout on Fitness+ and it ended up syncing again once I did that. How to get the Fitness app back on my iPad I subscribe to Fitness + and previously used it on my iPad for the bigger screen. The app has seemingly gone from my Home Screen and App Library. The app is not hidden in my App Library. When I search for it in the App Store I find it and it says ‘Open’ instead of ‘Get’ or the re-download symbol. When I hit open the app does seem to open but as soon as I enter another app it disappears. It can no longer be seen in multitasking view and the app is not on the Home Screen. Obviously I can search for it in the App Store if I want to use it but this is more annoying than having the app on the Home Screen.

Fitness app stuck displaying Fitness+ advertisement My Fitness icon seems to now redirect to the Fitness+ promotional screen rather than the app that displays my accumulated fitness data. From that (truly annoying and ugly) promotional screen, I can’t get to my Summary screen, or at least I have found no swipe or option that allows that. I just see a very busy promotion for Fitness+, and the only options are “subscribe to a free trial” and “get an annual subscription”. I want neither. I don’t want any part of Fitness+, I just want what I had until this morning, my local display of my own fitness data via the Fitness app. I have tried killing the process, I have rebooted the iPad, I disabled all notifications for Fitness in Settings, no luck. I put the network in Airplane Mode and the ugly promotional screen is inaccessible, but there is still no way to get to the old app Summary screen. I don’t want to delete the app because then I lose my fitness data. Ideas? TIA

Yep me too. I went to manually enter a 10 minute walk and forgot to switch the end time to AM so now I have a 12 hour 10 minute walk stuck there unable to be deleted like it was in the previous iOS
