ipad and iphone cannot get calendar information after changing account password

Due to the encouragement to update my password on my iPhone or iPad, I updated my account password, and now neither my iPad nor iPhone will show my calendar details.

With my new password, I can log into iCloud, and see the calendar details without issue.

I have tried resetting my password without success, and I cannot access the calendar with any password I have set.

I also have my iCloud calendar on Thunderbird, and since the change of password, that won't access my calendar, even with the new password.

I cannot find any solution online - so far, and would be most grateful for guidance to allow me access to my calendars again.

Many thanks,

Many thanks @Chattanoogan - a good suggestion, but it was Apple suggesting I change the password - but no link - it was my change, through Apple's mechanism, not via another site.

I am puzzled as to how I can access iCloud OK, and via an app on my laptop, I can access (effectively) iCloud data, but it is the calendar on the iPhone, iPad and Thunderbird (and a couple of email accounts on the iPad and iPhone!).

I am really puzzled!

Many thanks,

Just an update - after weeks of trying such things as powering off devices, and powering them on again; researching online, ... nothing worked, and then after weeks with no calendars and weeks with no efforts to resolve it, one day, they reappeared! No idea!

Maybe an issue at a server level?

Anyway, it has resolved itself, which I am pleased about, if still puzzled!
