Calendar first day of week doesn't sync with system settings

Within the Calendar app, the displayed start of the week when set to mirror system settings in "Start week on:" is always Monday, regardless of system settings. In my system settings, and language and region, the first day of the week is set as Sunday. This poses a problem in the widgets as well, causing confusion when quickly glancing at the calendar's events. Within the widget, the starting day uses the Calendar app's settings set as Monday, versus the system setting's Sunday.
