Finder not working and other apps glitching on Mac despite sufficient storage

My finder has been glitching for the past 2 weeks. I have followed all the provided steps in the apple guide by relauching finder; ******** it off ; and even reset chaches through finders. All the provided methods above have been unsuccessful. I am unable to open folder ; upload files on web browsers such as chrome and safari ; and been unable to delete folders and files likewise. Help much appreciated. On another note, other apps have been recently glitching and being unable to load ( I force quit it ). I have checked my storage and there is about 60 GB remaining which is supposed to be fine.
