X.com website is not loading on my MacBook Air

This occurs when I try to open from the search window, or tap a link to X.com in an article.

Original Title: When I try to log onto X.com on my laptop, It flashes, uses a lot of resources per the Activity Monitor, and will not load. This does not happen on my desktop or my iPhone.
