Macbook Air M1 (2020) Display died

I recently got a Mac Air M1 (2020) in July 2025 without the Apple care plan and this week I found that there is a hair like crack on the middle left of the screen which later resulted in my display being totally turned off.

Now when I start the system, there is sound, backlight and other indications but no display.

So changing the display is the only option I have as of now because I have rest of the warranty left, so just wanted to know the estimated price for the display replacement.

Apple have not sold that model in quite a while. From whom did you purchase it? There would be no Apple warranty today.

We are not Apple so, for pricing, all we can do is repeat costs encountered by other users who posted here. Assuming the display is the ONLY thing wrong—which is a shaky assumption with a 5-year old computer— parts and labor for a new display assembly start about US$500.

The display is a sealed assembly those components cannot be separately replaced. Thus the sky-high costs.

Pleas give clarificaiton of this computer's provenance, because what you have posted so far iis not computer for me.

Thanks.
