Upgraded to an iPhone 17 Pro Max and now I can’t get the Claude AI app to install. It worked fine on my previous iPhone. When I hit the download button in the App Store, it spins for about 10 seconds, then just goes back to the download button with nothing installed. Anyone know how to fix this?

For both posters here, it is possible that the developer of that app did not completely update it for the new iPhone and iOS. Please contact them for assistance. Apple cannot make any changes to an app they have not developed.

Exact same issue for the exact same app. Initially I wasn’t sure that it was specific to this app as opposed to simply being that one app didn’t transfer across from my iPhone 16 Pro Max to iPhone 17 Pro Max.
All other apps install/download/update perfectly fine.
Potential quirks - did use the Claude lock screen buttons, did use the Claude Home Screen widget, did set the Camera hardware button to Claude’s intelligent image shortcut as opposed to having the button open the native Apple Camera app.

I just tested downloading Claude to my iPhone 17 Pro. It downloaded in a couple of seconds, allowed me to create a new sign-in in and then worked fine.
Cannot install Claude AI app on new iphone.
