My Airpod Pro 3's make a clicking noise when I walk/move my head. I exchanged them for a new pair but I'm having the exact same issues with the new pair. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

So I think the problem is not software-related, but rather the materials Apple used to make the earbuds.
But **** it, as a perfectionist, it pains me to wrap my new AirPods in paper and foam. I paid $250 for them! Why should I have to modify them myself?

So I fixed the weird click noise I'd hear when walking or tilting my head to the right by pulling off the silicon ear piece, rotating it 180 degrees, and sticking it back on. Easy and free fix.
Does the clicking noise occur at any time you shake or nob your head?
Or only when you receive a call or text message?
Addendum: you might have Head Gestures turned on in iPhones Settings ➙ AirPod Pro 3 ➙ Head Gestures settings pane:

Try the following: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support . If the problem persists afterward you should take your AirPods into the nearest Apple Genius Bar after getting an appointment.
There's been a lot of problems with the AirPods Pro 3. I'd take them into your nearest Apple Genius Bar and have them look at them. That's not right.
The clicking noise happens whenever I shake my head from side to side or tilt it forward, even without an incoming call or text message. The issue also occurs when I'm simply walking or running.
It doesn't matter which noise cancellation mode is on; the sound persists whether I have ANC, Transparency, or even Off mode selected. The same goes for the Head Gestures feature—the clicking noise remains regardless of whether it's turned on or off.
I follow the relevant thread on Reddit. Quite a few people have encountered a similar problem. But none of those who replaced their AirPods Pro 3 with new ones found this helpful. The problem remained even with the new pair. Some people replaced them twice. And the problem still remained with the third pair.
I wish I had a fix! I tried different ear tips and discovered it's a more prominent sound depending on the ear tip size. I think it has to do with how snugly the airpods fit (or don't?) in my ear. I'm considering returning them altogether and just sticking with my Airpod Pro 2's :(
I’m having the same issue, any time I like move my head abruptly, or walk or run, I get a vague pop sound mostly coming from the left, every once in a while the right one does it. I’m not going to put tissue in my $250 AirPods what the f***. It is very annoying and I never had this issue with my pro 2’s.
Same, just went for my first run with the new APP3's and had constant popping in my ears with almost every other step. Was so unbearable I had to take them out and continue my run without them. Very disappointed.
This seems like a big miss from Apple. This is so basic it should have been picked up during testing. There is a big thread on another website with lots of people experiencing the same issue.
It happens whenever I run, walk, or shake my head. Even when the AirPods are in my ear and nothing is playing in them. And after i reset them. I called Apple who advised I return them. Since this was the second pair with which this issue recurred, I did not opt for a 3rd pair.
For those who have encountered the clicking sound issue, which country manufactured your AirPods Pro 3? For example, my AirPods were manufactured in Vietnam.
Perhaps the problem is only with Vietnamese AirPods.

2 - not necessarily. AirPods Gen 4 may be a year away in which case the 3s will be discontinued (except for those on shelves in slow moving areas).
Be sure to let Apple know of your problem so the numbers of affected units and extent of the problem is known to Apple.
