Incorrect Apple ID password for App Store after iPhone 14 update

I took the new update on my phone. now when I go to the App Store it ask me for my password. I've always used facial id. but when I go to use my password it says it's wrong. I'm using my Apple ID. I just used my finger print to get in on this site on my laptop, so it can't be wrong. please help why is not working for my phone.its an iPhone 14
