Unable to mirror new iPhone 17 Pro to Mac after removing old iPhone 11

I used to have my old iPhone (11) mirrored to my M2 Air. I recently upgraded to a 17 Pro, and I am unable to pair it with my MacBook, which is still showing the old 11. I have already removed the 11 from my iCloud, and the new 17 is not showing up in the list of devices i can mirror.
