Google Calendar events showing wrong dates in iCal on Mac

Google Calendar events I am sending to someone using iCal are showing up with the wrong dates on their end.

I am using Google Calendar with the Eastern Time Zone. I create an event that ranges from one date to another, for example, Oct. 14-16.

On the other end, the person I'm sending the Google Calendar event to is using iCal. The events are showing up as Oct. 13-16 on her end. I told her to check her time zone settings to make sure they match mine, but when she finds Time Zone Support and clicks on it, no pop-up window is coming up for her to check and/or change her iCal calendar settings.

She is using a Mac OS Ventura 13.6.7 Macbook Air and I am using Mac OS Monterey 12.7.6 Macbook Pro.

Please help! I send her many calendar bookings and I want to make sure they show up accurately on her end.
