Alarm clock not sounding on iPhone despite being set

My alarm clock didn’t go off this morning. never have had an issue with until this morning. Had the biggest duck hunt of my life this morning and my alarms were set and they were going off when i randomly woke up and there was no sound coming from them. Checked them again and they never went off.
