Messages not showing up on CarPlay with iPhone 17

The iPhone17 pro max- that’s what I just bought- but think it is with all IPhone 17’s it has it factory setting to need a Face ID for messages- where older iPhones didn’t have that once the phone was open with Face ID or password- long hold the message button on your phone and change the setting to NO Face ID required… after 6 agonizing hours of trying to figure this out- I shut off Face ID required for messages the app appeared in my car and is working perfectly now!
