Why th Apple Store it’s not working for search apps

The outage has since been resolved.
So. after doing every other other last thing all the other forums said to do twice with no luck, I went and enabled apple intelligence and suddenly it would search fine. No system outage when I checked their site. So if you don’t have apple intelligence on under Settings>Apple Intelligence & Siri try that
Are you currently experiencing this issue with being unable to search? If not I am glad you are not, for those of us who are this was a work around that worked for me. I am sure if it was impacting everyone this would be a lot bigger issue. This is likely not the root cause but it may be enough to overcome whatever it is. In theory it opens up a different path to query the database, so it’s likely a work around as opposed to a fix.
I have never had Apple Intelligence active on any of the equipment I own and I can search the store without issue.
Hello~ I have been able to Search the App Store on my iPad and my iPhone with no problem. What seems to be the issue that you are having specifically?
