Apple Journal gets laggy as typing

The Apple Journal App (along with the iOS keyboard) keeps getting laggy as a I type much text. The more text I type, the more laggy it becomes. And at last it becomes almost unusable since the keyboard responses to my type after almost a second delay and I can barely type with such delay. And also, as the app and keyboard gets laggy, my iPhone gets hotter and hotter. Also, relaunching the app doesn’t help, or actually, as long as I open a journal with lots of texts and tries to edit it, the app just becomes laggy. I guess there must be a problem with the text input of the Journal app. I started to encounter this issue after I update to iOS 26 and even for now it still hasn’t been fixed. Are there anyone encountering the same issue or is this just my own problem? Are there any workaround that I can try? This issue just make the Journal app mostly unusable and is pretty annoying so please give me some suggestions, thanks!
