How do I scrub a podcast episode on Carplay?

On IOS, since forever, it's natural to scrub a song, movie or podcast episode by dragging the marker to where you want to listen (called scrubbing). This is all gone in CarPlay! No way to scrub. Resulting in total frustration while driving because you need to tap fast forward/backwards (10 sec) forever to get where you want. Also, if you listened 45mins out of a 60min episode, then when you're in the car next time and want to start over, it's impossible. There's no way to rewind an episode to the beginning either. This is a mess, basic functionality missing! If this is limited with distraction in mind, the result is the opposite!
