Unable to verify payment method

My card used to work just fine on my apple account but for some reason it stopped. Yesterday i was making some purchases and it was working but suddenly it said it required verification and then it stopped working. I made a couple of purchases with the card on the exact same website literally like 3 minutes apart it worked for 3 then stopped and said it needed verification and when i enter the info it just says unable to verify please help.

I notice that there's been a few times over the past couple of days that Apple's system status has reported errors with the App Store. Apple - Support - System Status

If the issue persists, contact Apple about it. Refer to this page for Apple Support for different countries ➔

Choose your country or region - Official Apple Support

Select your country (if you do not see your country, also look for "other" in regions; e.g., "Other Africa"), then "Choose a product". Click the "show" item under each category for more selections. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
