it is impossible to pay for the purchase

Hi, I'm from Russia. I topped up my App Store balance; it's my only payment method. I have sufficient funds. But every time I try to pay for a purchase in Gardenscapes, I get a notification that says, "Your purchase could not be completed. Please contact iTunes Support for assistance." The problem is that support isn't available in Russia, so I don't know where to turn. But the payment isn't going through. What should I do?

Some items require the presence of a payment method such as a debit or credit card. To see the payment methods that you can use with your Apple Account [formerly Apple ID], click here --> Payment methods that you can use with your Apple Account - Apple Support

Note that these are ones that are accepted, but specific kinds (e.g., credit or debit cards) might be required in particular circumstances.


Sometimes adding a payment method will clear up the issue. If it does not then contacting Apple is the only alternative, though I realize that can be problematic in Russia at the moment given the state of world affairs.
