All printers are deleted when system is shut down overnight

I do custom printing for artists using a variety of Epson wide format inkjet printers (p9570 and p8000) as well as several Brother laser printers for office tasks. I'm running I'm running Sequoia 15.7.1 on an M3 Pro MacBookPro. Within the past few weeks I've noticed that ALL printers listed when I pull up "Printers and Scanners" settings are being deleted when the system is shut down overnight. I can add them back and everything works as expected until the next time the system is shut down... then I have to go back and add them again. Is this some sort of glitch with 15.7.1. All of the printers are connected via ethernet/wifi.... same network hardware I've been using for several years.

Thanks

Bob Smith

Yes, it has become a problem with the 14.8.1 & 15.7.1 updates.

Easiest option is to "Shutdown" your Mac until Apple fixes the problem. If you want, you can schedule the shutdown & startup to occur automatically using the instructions in the following Apple article:

Schedule your Mac to turn on or off in Terminal - Apple Support

FYI, the printers are deleted just after midnight.
