Using Automator to Passively Macro Games

So I'm just trying to do a really simple repetition job, playing a tower defense game on roblox and using the "watch me do" function to simply place my single unit, then click retry once the game ends. It's unable to click on anything, not even to enlarge the Roblox tab from half-screen to full. I've also tried clicking on things and having it repeat them on chrome and notes and it won't click anything in them either. It will open applications at the bottom of the screen, and it types things fine if it doesn't need to click on anything (I had it use WASD to move in the game). What can I do to fix this?
