Apple Music skips through all songs after pause and sleep

Streaming Music to a BluSound Node via Airplay 2. Pause Apple Music playback (typically set to autoplay); computer goes to sleep; wake and press play in Music to resume; Music skips rapidly through all songs in queue and then stops. This happens on MacBook Air as well as Mac Mini. Quit Music and relaunch; playback works OK. This isn't right.
