Incompatibility of Power BI with MacBook

Does anyone know why Power BI is not compatible with MacBook? The app seems to be compatible with iOS as it's available for download with an iPhone or iPad. Seems unusual that it's available for these, but not Mac.

I'm currently using iPhone mirroring to use Power BI through my Mac, but not the most effective.
