Enabling EV Routing integration on iOS 26.0.1 with Toyota is not causing Apple Maps to detect my vehicle

Enabling EV Routing integration on iOS 26.0.1 with Toyota is not causing Apple Maps to detect my vehicle. I restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled both the latest Toyota App and even the Apple Maps applications, yet I still cannot get Apple Maps to prompt me to set up my vehicle to use EV Routing. According to Toyota, EV Routing with Apple Maps is supported with my vehicle.
